there could be a problem with Leeches in your garden. If so I recommend spreading ashes on the ground around the roots/base of your plants. Ashes will prevent the leeches from getting close to your precious plants or there stalks, further more preventing unwanted damage. You can use any type of ash even from the grill.. Always recycle!
